To provide effective and efficient Social Development Services as part of an integral component of Comprehensive Primary Health Care.

Objectives

• To provide and maintain quality assurance to Social Development Dept and Sub-District
   
• To facilitate access of vulnerable groups to health related services as well as to social welfare and paralegal services
   
• To provide food security interventions for indigent TB patients and other vulnerable groups in the form of Food Gardens and Food Parcels.
   
• To facilitate, promote and support self-help skills for self-reliance, job creation and poverty alleviation, thus preventing a dependency syndrome.
   
• To support and monitor the CHWP and facilitate recruitment of CHWs, ensuring equitable allocation of  CHWs in all the areas of need.
