Provides the eThekwini Municipality, its Administration and Residents with a comprehensive property service focussing on the following:
- Release of Council property that is either in support of a specific initiative, or surplus to Municipal requirements;
- Administration of Municipal owned or retained properties mainly through lease mechanisms;
- Preparation and maintenance of the Valuation Roll
- Acquisition of property or property rights in support of capital projects and programmes, and,
- Special projects as these relate to the core responsibilities of the Unit
