THEMBA KHUMALO
If You've ever wondered what it feels like to be a rock star, here's your chance to find out, Friday 2 September is Casual Day, the annual fund raising initiative in support of people with disabilities and this year the public is being encouraged to dress up like their favourite rock star.
To lend your support, buy a Casual Day sticker, dust off those platform shoes, bellbottoms or leather pants and strut your stuff in front of your colleagues. Casual Day is managed by the National Council for Persons with Physical Disabilities in South Africa. Stickers are available from Absa branches,Game and Edcon stores countrywide, and a wide network of participating organisations. Stickers cost just R10, but if you're feeling generous, buy an official Casual Day cap for R35, including a sticker.
